Here is a rare find. This is an excellent crocodile tooth from the famous fossil fish beds of Wyoming. This tooth was found by Steve Hess in 2004. The tooth is quite 3-dimensional and exhibits great detail. The shiny, corrugated enamel of the tooth is beautifully preserved, and the pointed tip of the tooth is nicely intact. The dark brown tooth contrasts wonderfully with the cream-colored matrix. The fossil is naturally positioned on the large plate of shale. This is a wonderful specimen of an uncommon Crocodile tooth from the Green River Formation.
