This is a very large brachiopod from an unusual location. It is a fabulous Neospirifer condor from the Permian of Bolivia. This brachiopod is totally free of matrix and can be seen from all angles. The fossil is extremely 3-dimensional and has excellent color. Both valves of the brachiopod are intact and tightly articulated. The HUGE brachiopod exhibits fine detail - the ornamentation of the winged lamp shell is easily seen. This is a very attractive Spiriferid brachiopod from an exotic location.
