Here is a fabulous tooth of Mammuthus primigenius, a Woolly Mammoth, from the Pleistocene of Russia. This specimen was found in the same area that was featured in the Discovery Channel special, ''Raising the Mammoth''. The distinct tooth is fully 3-dimensional and exhibits great detail. The grinding surface of the colorful tooth is exceptionally well preserved and beautifully displayed. This solid tooth still has the long roots intact and embedded in part of the jawbone, which is very unusual. The tooth has great natural color and simply displays beautifully. This is a very collectible Mammoth tooth from Siberia - one of the best quality teeth we've had.
