This is a beautiful fossil shrimp from the Jurassic of Germany. It is a complete Aeger tipularis from the famous Solnhofen Lithographic Limestone. This shrimp is very large and has excellent detail. The pointed rostrum, head, carapace, and legs are all wonderfully displayed. The fossil has great dark color and strong contrast and is perfectly centered on the large, rectangular plate of limestone, showcasing the long antennae impressively. This is a very beautiful example of a collectible fossil arthropod from this classic, world-famous locality.
