This is a very attractive ammonite. It is a distinct Cleoniceras cleon from the Cretaceous of Madagascar. This ammonite has been cut in half and both halves have been highly polished. The coiling pattern of the mollusk is easily seen, and the individual chambers are wonderfully defined. The hollow chambers are easily seen, making for a beautiful display. This is a ''Grade A'' specimen of Cleoniceras from Madagascar.
