This is an excellent fossil crab. It is a nice Pinnixa galliheri from California. This type is referred to as a ''pea crab'' due to it's petite size. The crab has nice detail preserved, and it is nicely showcased on the matrix plate. The legs and claws display beautifully. This is a very nice fossil crab from the Golden State.
