This is a great association specimen of several different fossils. On the left of the slab is an unidentified inadunate crinoid. This crinoid has great plate structure. The long, uniserial arms display the branching pattern very nicely. In the center of the slab is a very rare edrioasteroid. This is a large specimen of Discocystites kaskaskiensis. Very few specimens of this primitive echinoderm have been found at this site. On the right side of the plate is an example of Archimedes. This corkscrew-shaped bryozoan is very distinctive of the Upper Mississippian. There are also several other net-like bryozoans on the plate. This is a great echinoderm and bryozoan association plate from a site that usually only yields blastoids.
