Here is a very interesting Ice Age fossil. It is a complete paw from the extinct Russian Cave Bear, Ursus uralensis. Cave Bear material is becoming difficult to obtain as most of the caves have been discovered and collected out. This is a large left rear paw with all the digits and claws intact. The bones have been internally wired together for strength and stability. This is a very displayable specimen from this extinct Ice Age Bear.
