Here is a very detailed specimen from the Ordovician of Morocco. This plate contains a beautiful, large brittlestar and two smaller stars. The main brittlestar exhibits gorgeous detail. The large central disc is wonderfully displayed, and all five of the extremely long, sinuous arms are intact - it is highly unusual to have all of the arms so nicely preserved. The fossils have excellent, totally natural, orange coloration and contrast strikingly with the light tan matrix. The fossils are well positioned on the large sandstone block. This is a very aesthetic plate of brittlestars from Africa.
This fossil was collected and obtained legally, and is also being sold legally.
