This is a very unusual fossil association. It is an excellent Eryma sp. and rare Exocoetoides minor from the Cretaceous of Lebanon. Both specimens exhibit fine detail. Both claws and antennae are intact and beautifully displayed on the lobster. The flying fish is also clearly defined. The fossils are well presented on the semi-squared plate of lithographic limestone. This is a rare association of both a vertebrate and an invertebrate on the same plate.
