Here is an interesting plate of fossils from the Mississippian of Missouri. There a two fine examples of Evactinopora, a star-shaped bryozoan, on the slab. The fossils are quite 3-dimensional and exhibit fine detail. The points on the bryozoans are easily seen - one has five points, one is seven-pointed. The fossils have good color and contrast and are nicely positioned on the plate of maroon-colored limestone. This is a fine example of this strange bryozoan from the Fern Glen Formation.
