Here is a rare find. This is a large Crocodile tooth from the famous fossil fish beds of Wyoming. The tooth is quite 3-dimensional and exhibits great detail. The shiny, corrugated enamel of the tooth is beautifully preserved, and the pointed tip of the tooth exhibits hardly any wear. The dark brownish-black tooth contrasts wonderfully with the cream-colored matrix. The fossil is well showcased on the rectangular plate of shale. This is an excellent specimen of an uncommon Crocodile tooth from the fish layers of the Green River Formation.
This fossil was collected and obtained legally, and is also being sold legally.
