This is a highly collectible meteorite. It is a specimen of Northwest Africa 998, a famous meteorite from Mars. NWA 998 was found in the Sahara Desert in April of 2001. The total known weight of all recovered masses is only 456 grams! This meteorite is classified as an anomalous Orthopyroxene- bearing Nakhlite.
