Here is a fabulous specimen of Clypeus ploti from the Jurassic of England. This large echinoid exhibits very fine detail. The petaloid ambulacra are very well defined, and the test of the echinoid is entirely covered with fine ornamentation. The classic shape of the sea urchin is wonderfully displayed. This is an excellent example of this large sea urchin from England.
