This is a rare fossil echinoderm. This is a very nice Zeablastus with long stem preserved. Blastoids from Crawfordsville are very rare to begin with, and we've heard that only three Zeablastus have ever been found. This specimen also has a long stem intact, which makes it that much more collectible. The fossil is well showcased on the natural matrix plate. This is a very rare and unusual blastoid from the crinoid layers of Crawfordsville, Indiana.
