This is an extremely rare vertebrate fossil plate from the Triassic of China. On the left side of the slab is an excellent example of Keichousaurus hui. This interesting, dinosaur-like reptile is well articulated and exhibits great detail. The head, long neck, body, and lengthy tail are all beautifully displayed. The limbs of the reptile are exhibited in a ''splayed'' position, and even the tiny digits are quite evident. Another fine Keichousaurus is present on the right side of the plate. Although this Keich is on the edge of the rock, it is fully natural to the plate. Natural doubles are very rare in the fossil record, and these are preserved so close together that the heads even cross! The fossils have nice color and contrast and are wonderfully presented on the faulted plate of shale (note how the tail of the large Keich has naturally shifted!). This is an extremely exciting multiple specimen of Keichousaurus that is also very displayable.
This fossil was collected and obtained legally, and is also being sold legally.
