This is a very unusual echinoderm from Morocco. It is a Rhopalocystis sp. Eocrinoid from newly-found Ordovician layers. The eocrinoid has wonderful natural color and excellent contrast. The fossil is preserved in a splayed-out position. The fossil displays beautifully on the natural plate of shale. This is a great example of this strange Ordovician echinoderm from Morocco.
