This is a complete specimen of a rare Globidens aegyptiucus Tooth from the Cretaceous of Morocco. The button-shaped crown looks much different than most conical Mosasaur teeth. The marine lizard tooth retains the full natural root, which is extremely uncommon. This tooth exhibits excellent detail - the enamel of the tooth is wonderfully preserved, and the tip of the tooth is in fine shape. The fossil has wonderful color and contrast and is well centered on the natural block of matrix. This is a very collectible, complete Globidens tooth with root from Morocco.
