Here is very nice echinoid plate from Gilmore City, Iowa. The piece has THREE rare Arcaeocidaris aliquantula echinoids preserved. The urchins are beautifully displayed with spines intact, which is quite unusual. The fossils have great color and contrast and are naturally positioned on the natural plate of limestone. This is a very uncommon echinoid multiple from a classic crinoid locality.
