Here is a very nice specimen of a fresh water gastropod. This fossil snail is from the Green River Formation of Wyoming. There is a very nice gastropod on the plate. The fossil is easily seen and exhibits good detail. The brown fossil contrasts beautifully with the light-colored matrix. The snail is well showcased on the large plate of shale. This is a great specimen of a gastropod from the Fossil Fish site in Wyoming.
