This is a rare pair of Ordovician echinoderms. It is a large slab with two excellent carpoids preserved. The carpoids have fabulous plate detail preserved (hard to see in photo). One of the carpoids is almost fully complete, with the long, thin stem, egg-shaped body, and long, finger-like arm nicely intact. The fossils have beautiful natural color and are very aesthetically spaced on the large, colorful plate of sandstone. This is a very detailed pair of unusual organisms from the Ordovician sea floor.
This fossil was collected and obtained legally, and is also being sold legally.
