This is a very pretty fossil. It is a large Ganoceras from the Devonian of Morocco. This cephalopod has been highly polished, and the fine detail of the fossil is beautifully displayed. The individual chambers are easily seen, and the coiling pattern is clearly defined. This is an attractive example of a Devonian ammonoid from Morocco. (The white streaks are in the photo, not on the actual fossil.)
