This is a very unusual echinoderm. It is a large Unidentified Cystoid from the Ordovician of Morocco. This strange type of echinoderm has a long stem, a large, multi-plated body, and two long arms. All of these features are well preserved on this specimen. The cystoid is beautifully displayed on the large, natural plate of sandstone. This is an excellent specimen of this unusual echinoderm from North Africa.
