Here is a very rare multiple specimen of a rare cystoid. These are Glyptocystis robusta from the Ordovician of Morocco. These cystoids are extremely distinct for the type. They are very inflated and exhibit incredible detail. The highly ornamented plates are beautifully showcased. The lengthy stem is still attached to one of the cystoids, which is unusual. There is also a trilobite in the concretion, which is extremely uncommon. The fossils have excellent color and contrast and are beautifully displayed in the concretion - and both halves of the concretion are intact and offered together. This is the most unusual example of this primitive cystoid and trilobite in a concretion we have seen.
