This is a rare and desirable US coin. It is an 1858 Flying Eagle Penny Coin. We acquired some rare US coins in trade and will be selling them here The grade of the coin is fine (F) - the nice detail can still be seen. One side of the coin displays the distinct Flying Eagle, while the other side exhibits a wreath and the words "One Cent". This is the first "small cent" ever produced by the US, and was quickly (two years!) replaced by the "Indian Head" penny This is a very distinct and intresting historical coin from the Pre-Civil War period.
