This is an enigmatic fossil. It is a pair of Conularia sp. from the Ordovician of Canada. There is still a lot of debate on the classification of this animal. These specimens are inflated and exhibit fine detail. The crenulated ''ribs'' of the fossils are very well defined. The Conularids have very good natural color and contrast. The fossils are well showcased on the large plate of matrix. This is a very good double example of this unusual fossil.
