Here is a beautiful specimen of a European ammonite. This is a nice Parkinsonia ammonite from the Jurassic of Germany. The cephalopod has a very rounded keel and displays distinct ribbing. The ammonite is inflated and exhibits great detail. The yellowish-green ammonite displays the smaller, inner whorls in wonderful fashion. This specimen displays well on the natural chunk of matrix. This is a very striking Parkinsonia ammonite from Germany.
