Here is a very nice croc fossil. This is a distinct jaw section with tooth from the croc, Sarcosuchus imperator. Sarcosuchus means, ''Flesh Crocodile Emperor'', and has been nicknamed ''SuperCroc''. This jaw is fully free of matrix, is very 3-dimensional, and has great form. The bone structure is beautifully preserved and extremely detailed, and the natural reddish-brown color is quite striking. This is a very collectible vertebrate fossil of a Croc tooth preserved in the jaw.
