This is a very nice Promicroceras ammonite from Lyme Regis, England. The striking ammonite has very good color and detail preserved - the ribbing pattern is easily seen. The fossil is replaced by calcite and displays well on the large plate of limestone. This is a distinct example of this classic Jurassic ammonite from England.
