Here is a very nice croc fossil. This is a rare jaw from the croc, Sarcosuchus imperator. Sarcosuchus means, ''Flesh Crocodile Emperor'', and has been nicknamed ''SuperCroc''. This jaw is fully free of matrix, is very 3-dimensional, and has THREE teeth intact. The bone structure is nicely preserved, and the bone and tooth detail is easily seen. Also, the natural reddish-brown color is quite striking. This is a very collectible reptile fossil from the Cretaceous.
