Here is a very interesting fossil from the Mississippian of Missouri. There is a fine example of Evactinopora, a star-shaped bryozoan, on the slab. The fossil is quite 3-dimensional and exhibits fine detail. The five points of the bryozoan are easily seen. The fossil has good color and contrast and is nicely displayed on the plate of fossiliferous limestone. This is a fine example of this strange bryozoan from the Burlington Formation.
