This is a very distinct specimen of a fossil gastropod. This fossil was found in a quarry known more to mineral collectors for its Wavellite deposits. This gastropod showcases its fine detail beautifully. The fossil snail is extremely inflated and quite 3-dimensional. This is a very nice specimen of an unusual fossil snail from the Keystone State.
