Here is very nice single echinoid from Gilmore City, Iowa. The plate has a rare Archaeocidaris aliquantula echinoid preserved. The urchin is beautifully displayed with many long spines intact. The fossil has great color and contrast and is naturally positioned on the chunk of limestone. This is a very uncommon echinoid from a classic locality.
