This is a very unusual Mammoth fossil. It is a distinct tooth from the Woolly Mammoth, Mammuthus primigenius. This specimen was found in the Rhine River, near Worms, Germany. The tooth itself is quite solid and has a great grinding surface preserved. Although the tooth is not fully complete, it is very affordable for what it is. This is a great example of a Mammoth tooth from Germany with grinding surface still intact.
