Here is a fabulous plate of fossils from the Eocene of Colorado. There are three nice insects on this slab. They are all different types of insects. Under magnification, the fossils exhibit terrific detail. The insects contrast nicely with the lighter-colored matrix. The fossils are well showcased on the natural-edged plate of shale that also contains what seems to be a small worm! This is an extremely fine slab with different fossil insects from the Eocene age.
