Here is a fabulous plate of fossil insects from the Eocene of Colorado. This plate has DOZENS of insects represented - we stopped counting at 100! These detailed insects have great dark color and contrast well with the khaki-colored matrix. There is also a rare wasp preserved on the plate. The insects are easily seen on the large slab of shale. This is a terrific multiple specimen of Eocene Insects from Colorado.
