This is a very nice pair of Heptagenia (Mayfly larva) from the Jurassic of China. This large fossil larvae exhibit very fine detail. The head, segmented body, and three-pronged tail are all easily seen on both specimens. Even the ''bristles'' on the bodies are quite evident. The Mayfly larvae have wonderful color and contrast and are well showcased on the plate of matrix. This is an excellent double example of Heptagenia from the time of the dinosaurs.
