Here is a fabulous plate of fossil insects from the Eocene of Utah. This specimen came from an old collection. This plate has EIGHTEEN Mosquitoes represented. These extremely detailed Mosquitoes have great dark color, and they contrast well with the khaki-colored matrix. The insects are easily seen on the natural slab of shale. This is a terrific multiple specimen of Eocene Insects from Utah.
