This is a very nice specimen of two fossilized shrimp. They are Carpopenaeus callirostris from the sublithographic limestone layers of Lebanon. Due to political unrest, specimens from this location are increasingly difficult to obtain. Both fossil shrimp are easily seen and have very good color. The form and detail of the shrimp are very nice. The shrimp are nicely showcased on the long plate of limestone. This is an uncommon multiple plate of fossil shrimp from Lebanon.
