This is a beautiful specimen of Wavellite from the National Limestone Quarry, Lime Ridge, Mount Pleasant Mills, Snyder County, Pennsylvania. This cool piece was found in 2011. The color of the Wavellite ranges from a nice yellow-green to a green framed in brown. The unusual dome-like structures are still intact. There is also a striking quartz druzy on the surface with the Wavellite. This is a very displayable example of Wavellite from Central Pennsylvania.
