Here is a very nice Cretaceous crocodile fossil. This is a rare jaw from a large, extinct croc. This jaw is fully free of matrix, is very 3-dimensional, and has SIX teeth present. The bone structure is nicely preserved, and the bone and tooth detail is easily seen. Also, the natural dark color is quite striking. This is a very collectible reptile fossil from the Cretaceous of Africa.
