This is a very interesting fossil. This seems to be a Segmented Worm from the Lower Cambrian of Nevada. This fossil was found in a single layer and nowhere else in the formation, as far as we know. This distinct specimen is nicely preserved and exhibits fine detail. The distinct segmentation of the organism is beautifully displayed and quite evident. The fossil has great color and contrast and is well showcased on the natural plate of shale. This is a very rare and collectible fossil of this delicate Lower Cambrian animal.
