Here is an excellent echinoderm specimen from the Ordovician of Morocco. This plate contains two beautiful, large, true starfish fossils. The distinct starfish exhibit gorgeous detail. The plate structures is wonderfully displayed, and all five of the long arms are intact on each star - it is highly unusual to have all of the arms so nicely preserved. The fossils have excellent, orange coloration that contrasts strikingly with the tan matrix. The fossils are well showcased on the large, natural block of sandy shale. This is a highly collectible multiple starfish fossil from North Africa.
