Here is a very large Unidentified Ammonite from the Cretaceous of Morocco. The large ammonite is very 3-dimensional and exhibits fine detail. The many inner whorls of the ammmonite are beautifully displayed. This thick-bodied ammonite has very large, coarse ribs that are very easily seen. The cephalopod is fully free of matrix, and the back side has been left totally natural. And at over nine inches across, this is one very impressive ammonite fossil! This is a very large, displayable ammonite from the the Moroccan desert.
