This is an extremely rare set of vertebrate fossils. These are fossil Horse Teeth from the Barstow Formation of California. These teeth were found in the Rainbow Basin, Mojave Desert about 25 miles NE of Barstow, California in 1962. They have been in the finder's collection ever since. There are two front teeth and a molar in the group. The detail is very nice, and the enamel is still intact and well displayed. This locality has been closed to collecting for decades. This is a very cool collection of fossil teeth found in the Mojave Desert over fifty years ago!
