Here is an excellent specimen of a large Mosasaurus anceps tooth. This distinct fossil is from the Cretaceous Phosphate Beds of Morocco. This huge marine lizard tooth is very robust and exhibits fine detail. The corrugated enamel of the tooth is exquisitely preserved, and the tip of the tooth displays almost no wear, which is quite unusual. The fossil has beautiful color and contrast and is wonderfully showcased on the large block of sandstone matrix natural, not composited!. This is a very large, displayable tooth from this famous Cretaceous sea monster.
