This is a textbook fossil replica. It is an excellent fossil bird (Gallinuloides) replica from the Green River Formation of Wyoming. This specimen was acquired from the Richard Busch Collection, who was the Preparator/Asst. Curator at the North Museum in Lancaster, PA from 1965-1992. This fossil bird is one of the most complete and distinct examples of this type ever found. The detail is amazing, and the casting is made in high relief and is quite 3-D. This is a beautiful fossil bird replica acquired directly from the Richard Busch Collection.
