This is a textbook fossil replica. It is an excellent fossil Flying Reptile (Pterodactylus) replica from the Solnhofen Lithographic Limestone of Germany. This specimen was acquired from the Richard Busch Collection, who was the Preparator/Asst. Curator at the North Museum in Lancaster, PA from 1965-1992. This Pterodactyl is one of the most complete and distinct examples of this type ever found. The detail is amazing, and the casting is made in high relief and looks much like the original fossil. This is a beautiful fossil Pterodactylus replica acquired directly from the Richard Busch Collection.
