This is a classic fossil replica. It is a HUGE framed Archaeopteryx replica from the Solnhofen Lithographic Limestone of Germany. This specimen was acquired from the Richard Busch Collection, who was the Preparator/Asst. Curator at the North Museum in Lancaster, PA from 1965-1992. This Archaeopteryx replica is just gigantic - almost two feet across! The detail is very nice, and the color is quite striking. The replica has been framed for optimal display. This is an impressive fossil Archaeopteryx replica acquired directly from the Richard Busch Collection.
