This is a very nice vertebrate fossil. It is a large Cave Bear (Ursus spelaeus) molar from the Pleistocene of Romania. Cave bear material is becoming harder to obtain, as the cave deposits have been heavily collected. The tooth has very good enamel and structure preserved. The cusps are very worn, so this must have been a somewhat older tooth. The fossil comes in a large glass-topped display case, included at no extra charge. This is a fine specimen of a large molar from an extinct Cave Bear.
